The
Reality of Love and Honour
How
many times have your people mis-used these words
Love
and Honour?
What do they truly mean?
Your book of word explanations
(dictionary) has many meanings, but where did they come from?
The meanings were brought about and
developed through the heart, emotions and senses. Within each and every human
being is the capacity for love or hate.
Why is this so?
Because it is the ‘Law of Being’
Yin and Yang we have spoken of many times, good and bad, right and wrong,
negative and positive. Within your being all things exist. Without you knowing
both sides of yourself (your shadow is as real as you are) the good and the not
so good, what would there be for you to learn or to overcome?
If you are good it is because you
choose to be and the same reasoning applies if you are not. The Choice is yours.
You have been given choice; the most important gift ever given to a race of
beings, for it allows you to direct your own life, a life full of love, hope,
happiness and without fear. You are all individuals and unique, yet all the
same.
Let us begin with The Ultimate
Reality, which is Love.
The
understanding of the Ultimate Reality comes about when you have accepted the
premise, that all and everything that is worth having and living by is Love.
Love
is the supreme Joy. It is a
feeling, an emotion, a gift to everyone from Spirit, because this is Life. Love
really can move mountains or take you to the heights of ecstasy, give you peace,
hope, and fulfillment and yes, it can also give sadness, despair and pain and
yet even with sadness, despair and pain is Love still not present?
All
can see the gentleness, of your heart and soul, when it is held within through
Love.
Love
is the act of loving others as much, if not more, than yourself. I can hear you
saying, “How can I love everyone”? And I say to you “It is possible if you
truly desire it”. It is your choice whether to love or dislike, I will not say
hate for this emotion is abhorrent to Spirit. Spirit is Love but even love has
its shadow.
When
one claims to love someone or something but control and possessiveness takes
over, it is then that love is out of control and can become soul destroying.
Love
has many forms. It can be gentle, passionate, friendly, open, shared, given and
accepted or refused.
Open
your hearts to the love you all have within. Allow yourselves the joy of giving
and receiving love and even if you can only do this for one hour a day, or one
week at a time, you shall see and feel the true beauty of your soul. Accept my
love for mankind and share in its beauty.
We
now come to what is Honour?
Mortals
protect their honour in some very strange ways, such as killing each other, as
in duels etc. In your Bible one of the Commandments is to Honour thy Father and
thy Mother.
Does
this mean the Oneness and the Goddess, God and Earth or the Human Host with whom
you live? An interesting question is it not?
Honour
is being truthful, doing what is right and knowing within yourself that you live
your life in a way, which can be seen as fair to all.
To
accept your responsibilities and to fulfill them as best you can.
It
is knowing yourself with honesty. Pride has, or should have, no place in
attaining or retaining Honour, for Pride comes before a Fall.
A
mortal’s idea of honour may create great deeds that allow men, women and even
children to shine with love and happiness at achievements accomplished. For this
is at it should be.
Alas,
many times this can become destructive because achievement is like the Sword of
Damocles, two edged.
Honour,
when held within through love and the feeling of humility, becomes beautiful.
But when Pride and the attitude of ‘I am the greatest’ takes over one is
already on the road to unhappiness.
By
all means, believe in yourself and your achievements in life but separate honour
from pride, for that fall may be much closer than you might think.
Honour
is something you have within you, it is yours, you do not have to prove it or
show this to anyone else for when you know you have honour within then so shall
all be able to see, for your light shall be that much brighter and your life
much happier. I speak to you as the Oneness of Spirit.
