The Joy of Giving

Life is such a precious thing; it has its ups and downs, its highs and lows, and most of all its grief and joy. Without any of the bad how would you come to recognize the GOOD?

Life is a JOURNEY of the SOUL; it uses the Mind, the Body, and all of the Senses. If all are given it encompasses every EMOTION known to man.

Without sadness, who could cherish the joy, which is abundant in you, you as a person? You all have the capacity to have JOY as your companion, and the way to stay together is through the ACT of GIVING.

NO! Wealth and money should not be the first thought that comes to mind. The joy of giving comes from within; it’s a light, a glow, and a revelation of ones-self, ones total dedication of the giving of oneself.

How can this be? What have I got to give anyone that would make another persons life better for having known me? Look into your heart and mind and the answer is ‘Love for others.’ Love is such a wonderful gift and it grows by being given away, the more you part with it the greater it returns.

It is the ability and the desire to help make someone happy, feel wanted, be needed and cared for, all the feelings and emotions that each and everyone of you need for your lives to flourish and grow, to become as ONE with all humanity.

You experienced a feeling within you that made you saddened after you had denied yourself. You remember the two old men who wished to talk to you but you told them ‘you didn’t have the time,’ and then after how you felt saddened, because you hadn’t found the time... the time to give a little of yourself.  Time! Which would have brought a great deal of joy to two lonely souls. That feeling altered your perception on what was meant by “ The giving of yourself. “

TIME, it really is a nuisance. Must you be in a hurry or rush to do things, go places, see people, or get things done? Is it really THAT IMPORTANT?

At times mans priorities are all wrong. If you miss a bus there will always be another, and what is wrong with walking, what does this matter. Not a lot really, but by not having time to give joy, pleasure and a little of yourself, this can then deny you the joy of giving and sharing.

JOY and LOVE are the sustenance of the SOUL.
